Costas Tsoclis' "Columns", a sculptural composition-installation that emerges from the wall of the permanent collection of the MOMus Museum of Contemporary Art, belongs to the artist's large series of works, where he uses various materials and objects to create images that on the one hand touch the boundaries of illusion, but on the other hand escape the limitation of two dimensions and create a visual space that knows no barriers and barriers and expands to embrace reality. The painterly approach always remains in the work, as the viewer, standing in front of it, perceives the existence of a "painting", a frame (even if it is not visible) that absorbs the objects it represents and the space that surrounds it.
